Rather than building new, this couple chose to update the 20-year home they originally built. To accomplish an open and inviting main level; doorways were widened, upper kitchen cabinets were removed, trim was painted, flooring was replaced, new lighting was added, and wallpaper was removed.
Words like serenity and beauty support the image of a master suite that one would want to retreat to after a long day. The original master walk-in closet was adequate, but the bathroom was small and out-dated. Both were gutted and combined into a new spa-like refuge. Doubling the size of the bathroom allowed for two separate back-to-back vanity areas, an enclosed water closet, larger shower, and soaking tub. An adjoining bedroom, no longer in use, became a new spacious closet.
